VOLKER LEDER: PARALLEL WITH NATURE

This exhibition of paintings of the landscape of the northwest of New South Wales, offers the opportunity to observe this environment through the eyes of an outsider. German-born artist Volker Leder has spent the past 30 years living in Lightning Ridge carving out a successful career as a practising artist. His work is an attempt to express the peculiarities of this environment as well as come to grips with the ever-changing colours and shifting features of this unique landscape.
